World Book Day 2015 was launched in style with a Staff Reading event. We heard wonderful memories of Winnie the Pooh, The BFG, Ladybird books, I Capture the Castle, and The Tiger Who Came to Tea, as well as enjoying special celebration World Book Day cakes.
World Book Day saw the launch of our World Reading Challenge. Collect your passport and read your way around the world, earning air miles as you go!
World Book Day really means the world here - Winnie the Pooh in Ukrainian, anyone?
Have you entered our BookFace competition? Which teacher is hiding behind each book?
What great costumes for our first ever Book Character mufti day! Elizabeth Bennett found her fan rather interfered with her headphones, and we had to keep an eye on that Tiger Who Came To Tea before he drank all the water in the taps in the staff room, but other than that we had a fantastic day.
Mrs Anslow gave us a great talk on Dystopian Fiction - a good excuse for Hunger Games cakes!
